The start-up KOVE has developed a method allowing fetuses to be safely operated on inside the womb. The jury at Venture Kick will provide financial support totaling 150,000 Swiss francs. It has also committed to providing the same sum to support RoomPriceGenie.

Three games companies Stray Fawn, Ateo and David Stark are offering office space on Hohlstrasse in Zurich and a mentoring program to budding games developers. The Swiss Game Hub is aiming to aid the development process for new game ideas and bring these to market maturity.

Researchers at ETH Zürich are planning to develop a fundamentally new security architecture for data exchanges on the internet. This should increase trust in online processes around the world. This pioneering project has been made possible by a huge donation from the Werner Siemens Foundation.
Numab and Chinese pharma company start R&D collaboration
Chinese pharmaceutical company 3Sbio has invested CHF 15 million in Numab through one of its subsidiaries, Sunshine Guojian. Numab, a company from the Greater Zurich Area that develops novel antibodies, will also collaborate with Sunshine Guojian to develop antibody molecules using Numab’s technology platform.
Swiss startup ecosystem on its way to maturing
More and more Swiss startups are being sold five years after they were founded or went public on the stock market, according to the latest Swiss Startup Radar report. Most of these exits are taking place in the canton of Zurich. The canton of Zug came in third place. In terms of industries, IT companies are well ahead of the others.
