Zurich – The Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Switzerland is founding a School for Continuing Education. With its focus on cybersecurity and data science, the ETH hopes its new school will meet the needs of the labour market.

Schlieren ZH – The fintech company Contovista has enjoyed its first success beyond Switzerland’s borders. Austria’s biggest banking group, Raiffeisen Österreich, is using the startup’s technology for its digital finance portal.
ETH researchers receive EU grants
Zurich – Ten professors from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) have secured an Advanced Grant from the European Research Council. More than half the projects submitted by the ETH have therefore been granted funding by the EU.
Garage startup on growth track
Zurich – The startup Carhelper from the Greater Zurich Area operates a platform that provides an overview of automotive garages. This uses an algorithm to calculate the potential costs of specific services. It was launched two years ago and already includes 500 garages.
Accenture opens Future Camp in Zurich
Zurich – On Tuesday, management consulting firm Accenture opened its Future Camp innovation laboratory in Zurich. This is a chance for industry experts, company clients and startups to come together and both develop and test new products.
Riva Digital wins digitalswitzerland challenge
Zurich – The winners of the digitalswitzerland challenge were chosen on Monday at Zurich’s Kraftwerk. Riva Digital emerged triumphant out of the 18 bets submitted. A second challenge with 10 new bets has already begun.
