Goldau SZ – This year’s main prize of the Central Switzerland Chamber of Industry and Commerce Innovation Award has been awarded to Garaventa AG. The ropeway manufacturer from Goldau impressed the jury with its cylindrical lift in Stoos.

Porsche and Hyundai invest in WayRay
Zurich – Porsche, Hyundai and Alibaba have invested in a startup company from the Greater Zurich Area. WayRay raised 80 million dollars in the investment round, with plans to channel the funds into its augmented reality technology for cars.
Auterion raises $10 million
Zurich – ETH spin-off Auterion, the world’s largest open-source drone software company, raised $10 million in seed funding earlier this month. The amount is well above the Silicon Valley average.
