Zurich - Bota Systems has been awarded a grant of 150,000 Swiss francs by Venture Kick. The spin-off from ETH Zurich is developing a sensor solution that aims to improve the interactions between robots and humans.

The system, which has been developed by research institutes in Singapore, uses robots designed by ABB. The technology group based in the Greater Zurich Area also provided support with regard to simulation and programming.
