Dübendorf/Tokyo - Japanese company Terra Drone and the Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich are set to collaborate on drone research and development (R&D) in future. This is the first Memorandum of Understanding that the Innovation Park Zurich has signed with a non-Swiss company from this sector.

Zurich/St.Gallen - Researchers form the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa) have developed a hydrogel implant to treat endometriosis. This can be inserted into the female fallopian tubes.

Zurich - Positrigo has obtained market approval from the U.S. regulator, the FDA, for its NeuroLF brain PET system. This will enable the company to meet the strong demand for these imaging diagnostic devices in the U.S.
SkyCell completes first pharma freight shipment from Beijing to New York
Zurich/Beijing - SkyCell has successfully transported sensitive pharmaceutical air freight between Beijing and New York using its hybrid container despite hot external temperatures and adverse situations. During the first mission on this route, the interior temperature remained constant between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius.
Ph. AG bringing KA-EX to the US market
Zurich/Metzingen - The start-up ph. AG is expanding to the USA with its recovery drink KA-EX. The product, which is manufactured in Switzerland, will now be available at 34 Earthbar locations in Southern California, 28 of which through an in-store concept with Equinox, an operator of luxury fitness studios.
ETH climbs to first place in the rankings of Europe’s best universities
London - The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) has climbed to the top of the latest QS rankings of Europe’s best universities. A second Swiss university made it into the top ten in the shape of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne. In total, seven Swiss universities are ranked in the top 101.
