The TorusChain Association is seeking to reshape the Web3 ecosystem with its TorusChain. The organization, which is headquartered in Zug, announced the global launch of the blockchain protocol on August 22. According to the press release, the world’s first gasless Layer-1 blockchain not only operates without transaction fees but is also exceptionally fast.
In this way, TorusChain is seeking to offer a “game-changing platform” for the rapid introduction and scaling of projects. The launch of TorusChain is being supported by the Singapore-based digital media giant NewMedia Holding, which, according to the TorusChain Association, boasts a reach of 1.8 billion users.
As the press release explains further, TorusChain goes beyond traditional blockchain capabilities by integrating a comprehensive ecosystem. According to Shabir Momin, TorusChain Association President, this helps to shorten the journey from concept to market readiness: “This chain is about speed and fostering an environment where innovation thrives”. Ramy Copty, co-founder and director of the TorusChain Association, underlines the value of strategic partnerships that strengthen the ecosystem, including “payment gateways, tech integrations, marketing accelerators, and user acquisition programs”.
As an example, co-founder and director of the TorusChain Association, Philipp Zahrer, describes the FunNFT.com platform as a “standout offering” that introduces “unique NFT protocols for royalties and rentals”. He states that the platform allows creators, artists, celebrities, and influencers to “fractionalize, monetize and share their work with unprecedented independence and speed, fostering direct relationships with their fans and fuelling a new fan economy”. ce/mm
